Badshahi Mosque
Badshahi Mosque was constructed between 1671 and 1673 by the Mughals. It was the largest mosque in the world upon construction. At its peak the Mughal Empire covered more than 3.2 million square kilometres (1.2 million square miles), and ruled over more than 150 million subjects, nearly one quarter of the world's population at the time, Lahore, Pakistan . Packistan is an amazing place to explore. I took this shot back in 2007.
