Didn't intent to make this a steemhunt advertisement.
As a new father with a 3 year old and a 9 month old it's definitely tough with a well paying job to keep up with the clothes they grow through so quickly. What an awesome idea and invention for those that can't afford to keep up.
I used to do hunts for SH, but found they only ever accepted technology related hunts, and I'm not into gadgets. I don't like being limited by the format of how you have to submit info to create the posts, so without getting the extra tokens from being approved for the hunt, it's definitely not worth it to me, which is why I've stopped thinking about it. For tech innovations though it is good to keep in mind.
Yeah, I think a lot of parents are going to find it a life saver. Unfortunate that the model can probably only work for summer sandals, but at least that's something.
That is perfect. It's like when I was little and I had roller skates that strapped onto my shoes and could adjust to different sizes. More things should be like that.
Also, now that I fit in kids' jeans, I have discovered that nowadays they make them with an elastic band in the waist held on with buttons, that you can pull it in to cinch the waist or let it out when the kid grows. Another brilliant innovation.
Those strap on rollerskates are such a good example of the idea. So cool that they could adapt the basic concept to have everyday practical application. Of course, will only work for Summer sandals, but that saves the parents at least part of the year. I forgot how kids pants are so often made with elastic waists. That probably is why.
It doesn't stretch like an elastic waist; it simply has the capability to cinch in. It's stiff at it's widest setting. It's more like a string in a hoodie.
very useful, especially for people of limited resources, as you indicate, is a good option and you can use it with a jean, a short, etc., that is to say, with several garments.
I enjoy seeing Companies continue to focus on giving and creating solutions for underserved communities. It reminds me of the things we can build here on Steem given our strong community.

O bummer, forgot/didn't realize it was technology related hunts only :/
For sure summer shoes is a good start.

This is really creative of "because" but are not still too expensive for the poor, $15?
I think in the video or article on the BI website they say they are sold in the West and given away in Africa. That's really cheap for the US.
OK. But in Africa $15 would really be expensive, if a poor person had to pay for it.

Very creative. Love the shoe design. Thanks for sharing.
I think it's a good option, the design is nice, I hope the price is accessible, especially for people with limited resources

Dear @indigoocean
Interesting product.
You remind me so much of my wife. She would structure sentence "Businesses Creating Products that Truly Serve the Animals" :)
Yours
Piotr
