The Conversation
As i went through my old drawings, i saw this old art work i made like 10years ago. 
In the conversation, an extremely poor street low life whose existence was defined around begging & sharing crumbs with rats was asked his wish for the new year if he had the opportunity to meet God one-on-one. Only one thing he wanted - A true Leader.
A true leader is what is lacking in many counties, society, institutions, homes, etc. As responsble citizens, leadership at every level of government requires our involvement & watchful eyes. Much of the struggle experienced in many countries of the world especially in Africa is as a result of bad leadership.
Elections offer citizens the opportunity to exercise their political right that is guaranteed in the Constitution. It is an opportunity for the people to choose good & true leaders. It is the responsibility & obligation of the citizenry to vote & ensure their votes count.
I hope the current local Government elections going on in Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria will be free & fair, & the results a reflection of the peoples mind.
The world needs true leaders at every level for the growth of humanity.
Instead of asking for a true leader to emerge maybe this poor man should run for office. He may have no money or little experience but his heart and desire to see change could be exactly what the world needs or more specifically what Nigeria needs. What do you think?
Yes that's true but this is almost impossible in the society we find ourselves. A society in which money is a major ingredient to occupying govt office. This is one of the reasons many good individuals with true leadership qualities dont make their ambition known
