Short Story- Creation And Destruction
I have been working on a novel for a long time. One night as I sat down to write the ending of my story I decided to add a little twist to it. Basically I wanted to add an emotional streak to my story. So, I decided why not kill a chirpy, bubbly character. Readers always love them. Let us make the antagonist win this time, why don't we?
I finished my first draft of the story and went to make dinner in the kitchen. I heard the sound of the pages turn and the laptop creating weird sounds. I felt as if someone was standing behind me. As I turned around I was left shocked. Sam stood there in all his glory, his dark eyes shooting daggers at me. His slicked black hair and white shirt adding to his angelic beauty. But he was no angel and nobody knew that better than me. I knew he was enraged. I did something that I should never have. But what could I do, I eventually fell in love with him and she was getting in the way of us.
" You knew I loved her, you knew what she meant to me, then why?", his eyes burning with rage as he asked.
I knew this would happen. But someone had to go and how could I kill him.
"You need to pay for what you did", stated Sam as an evil smirk spread upon his face.
"You cannot do this to me, I created you", I cried.
"Well you should have finished me when you had the chance to, I was never meant to be loved", he said as he shot me exactly where he resided in me.
Thus, destroying us both. I created him with my deepest emotions but those were wrath and lust. I forgot what is created, needs to be destroyed.

Is it love your created? Your writing is super, sam was mad at you and shot you in the heart right? He said he wasnt meant to be loved! Why?

Thank u @habeebability. Sam was an antagonist in the story that the narrator had written. But while creating him she fell in love with him. Now, every story needs a twist. She had to kill a character of hers. So, she killed the protagonist whom Sam loved. Being the evil Sam was, he managed to get out of story and killed the narrator. It's a fiction but it has a message hidden behind it. I am glad you took out some time to analyze it.
