Plagiarism is when you copy directly from someone else's blog or essayist and use it as your own work without necessarily citing the source you had it from.

TYPES OF PLAGIARISM
There are several types of plagiarism.
Briefly explanation of some of the various types of plagiarism are below.

Mosaic Plagiarism: This kind of plagiarism is about copying ideas from various sources without citing the original source.

Self-Plagiarism: This type of plagiarism involves repurposing ideas from old work. This form of plagiarism is uncaring and mild.

Global Plagiarism: This form of plagiarism entails taking someone’s entire work and attempting to pass it off as his own. This is a very serious offense that should be avoided at all cost.

Verbatim plagiarism: Which occurs when someone copies a passage of text without referencing the source or author of the material.

What is seen as plagiarized and how it is done in terms of pictures, videos and music?

If you use photographs, recordings, or music in your work without citing the source or receiving permission from the craftsman, it is called counterfeiting. It may be considered literary theft to use images, videos, or music in the following ways:

If you copy an image and use it in your work without citing the original artist, your work would be considered plagiarized.

If someone's music is in part or absolutely similar to or identical to publicly published music.
Using portions of recordings in your own film without permission or credit.

For performing music that was lawfully protected without citing the source.

Plagiarism can be described as reproducing word to word with a similar set-up or utterly similar thought.

Recording a video cut with safe music playing behind the scenes is another example of literary theft.

Unlicensed reproduction of copyrighted material would be a violation, since it would be deemed literary theft.

How can one check plagiarism?
It is easy to check plagiarism. There are a lot of online plagiarism tools that one can use to check plagiarism if a person thinks there is copyright infringement on his or her work via paid or free. One will need to transfer his or her intellectual property or work to the online plagiarism indicator. The tool will be able to discover any copyright infringement by any person on one’s work. It will delineate between the original work and the fake or plagiarized work.
An example of a site you can use to check plagiarism is given below and how one can use this site to check plagiarism with screenshots.

The plagiarism circle calculates the percentage of plagiarism, and I received a nil, indicating that my post was primarily mine.

The special circle verifies the uniqueness of your message, which is passed with flying colors.
It is evident that Steem does not encourage plagiarism. As such, I will try my possible best to abide by this rule by creating my personal blogs rather than stealing from others.

I am much grateful for your time.
