A 3rd World - Cryptorookie's Story
Everybody loves the smell of freshness, the scent of the new... some even say that a "fresh" start is rarely uncommon in this world nowadays; its rotation now becomes faster and faster, letting so less room for people to adapt properly. But if you, dear reader, are one of those who consider that ruthless sentence of "adapt or die"a valid premise, well... perhaps you'll find in these humble words something of interest.
Where I'm from things are becoming near doom: chaos is reigning rampant and people are turning to be chaos - like: reptile thinking whispers as a tiny voice so smooth, so seductive that the line between right and wrong begins to blur. Suddenly and amongst the ruling disorder the survival of the fittest justifies a certain handful of procedures that wages war against all that's good, all that's balanced. Living in V... is not easy, it has never been yet one must stand bold, moral and ethical.
A friend of mine introduced me to the cryptocurrency world warning me that "it won't be as fast as our social and political situation demands" ergo as I wanted it to be in order to surf the wave without swallowing tons of salty water. He also told me that he has been making a not so despicable earning doing crypto - faucets, surveys and so many other internet things to get his hands on a BTC. All new words for me, I remained skeptical until, looking at my face with sour expression, he said:
Man, the way I see it and considering that you're a certified professor with a master in Musical Education, teaching no classes at all due the country's mighty fall, having so much talent to put in play, working from Mon to Sat on a 9 to 5 shop, all that is just a state of mind. You see, in crisis the opportunities multiply for those who can seize them!. I know now he wasn't trying to subtlety say that my own situation was a plain justification for robbery. Encouraging me to use mathematics to drive myself out of the monthly minimum wage (like $1,25 in the US), he gave me a few shots into these so called faucets. I signed in on two of them using this slow yet functional PC and started to look at everything with perspective but you all readers know that faith always comes first because before you know that something is going to work, you have to believe in it first... so, to know is to believe and viceversa.
Well, after a lot of mouse clicking during 4 weeks here I stand. I also read a huge amount of papers and articles concerning cryptocurrencies and focused myself on this particular website where you can start from the scratch mining both GHS power and the cheapest alt coin. Click by click, claiming from almost 7 faucets every 30 minutes or so (I know there's a lot of them where I can gather more but again, I'm rookie and if you can't swim too good then the shower is the best place to become familiar with water) I started to get happy seeing the amounts growing slowly... ¿Hardcore part? Yes, to remain as sane as possible in a world where greed is the new need.
Yesterday I made my first withdrawal from a site to another site, successfully enough to keep in business and today received the great news from STEEMIT people saying that my account was one step to be fully created.
¿Am I still far from that BTC or any other alt coin? Yes I am but I stand with my head up high and proud knowing that when things seem to be more difficult the reward becomes honey sweet. For me in ethics, to never surrender is to keep yourself clear while pursuing the goals there are no fishy methods that can justify your final accomplishment.
I wanted to share my story with you all... trusting that if any other rookie like me reads it, he/she can find mind power to overcome any economic - flaw state of mind.
