The mushroom-raincoat has a lot of funny nicknames. It is called "damn tobacco"and" grandfather tobacco".
But, perhaps, most amusing name — "Galkina bath." Why is it called mushroom raincoat in the Kostroma region?
From the crushed pulp of the fungus rises to the sky smoke, like a tiny stove bath. See, some of our ancestors with great imagination presented as a jackdaw, holding under the wing of the basin, with a towel on his head rushes to a bathhouse to wash up.

An interesting name ... and funny ☺️

Yes, cool name.

Nice

👌👌👌

The latin name is lycoperdon pyriforme, which translates roughly to wolf fart mushroom. The common name in north america is pear shaped puffball. These are edible if they are white all the way through and taste really good scrambled in eggs or just pan fried in olive oil and spices.

Not tried it but maybe try)))
