Taste-bud Temptation Night

After one week of starting primary school, my husband and I thought our son did really well. He wasn't clingy at all, nor was he reluctant to go to school. In fact he woke up earlier than us at 6am (he actually had to wake us up), washed up and dressed up, ever ready to go. He even packed his school bag by himself. This is rather impressive, giving the fact it was his 1st time to a new school, new environment and new bunch of friends. Not forgetting new language and new culture. Therefore we decided to give him a reward - a night date dinner and movie!!

We went to 'Be Sixth Comfort Food' because the food and ambience really live up to its name.

Beef bolognese with their signature Pomodoro sauce. Yums...everything in balance it just tickles your taste-bud. This is for Junior J

Aglio-olio. I always love aglio-olio and so this is mine. This time I prefer it the vegetarian style, no meat. Simple yet satisfying.

Senior J had his dinner at home earlier so he ordered roasted pumpkin salad to be shared with his wife and Junior J. What a perfect combination with cherry tomato, zucchini, leafy vege and pomegranate too. Feel so healthy when you eat them.

With our taste-bud fulfilled and stomach fueled, we head off for a movie none other than 'The Greatest Showman'. One word. FANTASTICO

Three of us reached home at midnight - sleepy, yet contented. I want to believe we are all gear up for what is awaiting us ahead.
