Achievement 2 @hopeofgod (Basic Security on Steemit)

Hello, am @hopeofgod and Allison Iretiola by name, it is a great pleasure for me to be part of steemit and am here to submit my achievement 2 as demanded by the community.

I read through @kiwiscabfly post on "understanding your steemit wallet & powering up" now I can boldly said I understand how to power up on this great platform.
Question 1
Have you retrieve all your keys on steemit?
Answer
I have retrieve all the required key after I login with my master password, I login to steemwallet.com and downloaded all the available key and store it offline.
Question 2
Do you know the each of those keys functions?
Answer
Yes I fully understand the functions of each of the keys.

1). The Master Key :- This is used recover all other keys

2). Posting Key:- The posting key per form the following functions.

• used for day to day posting on steemit
• Edit post and comment
• Used for upvote and downvote
• Resteeem post or comment
• Used to follow other users
• Used to join community
• mute account

Restrictions to the posting key

• It can only be used for social functions.
• Posting key can't be used to replace active or master keys.

3). Active Key Functions
My active key can be used to perform the following functions.

• Use to transfer SBD and steem
• Used to power up and down
• Convert SBD to steem and vice versa
• used to vote witness
• Used to update profile on steemit
• create a new user

Restrictions of Active key

• It can not be used to represent posting key
• It can not be used to perform the functions of the owners key or Master Key

4). Function of Owners Key

• can be used to reset owners key, posting key and active keys.
• Used to recover account
• Used to decline Voting right

**Restrictions of Owners Key **

• It can't be used in place of posting key
• it can't be used in place of Master Key

5). Functions of Memo Key
Memo key is used to perform the following functions.

• Use to send encrypted message to another user
• Use to read an encrypted message from another user

Restrictions of Memo Key

• can not be used to replace owners key, active key, posting key or Master key.

Question 3
How do you plan to keep your master password?
Answer
I have wrote down the password on a piece of paper and save it inside my documents file, I also have a backup file in my Google drive.

Question 4
Do you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?
Answer
Sure
To send steem or sbd, user have to login to steem wallet with your active key and follow the following steps

Clicked on the balance to see a drop down menu.

Click on transfer

Enter the username of the receiver in the second box and the steem amount in the third box, the last box is for memo (a short description of what the token is for. After that click next

This page shows you the preview of the transaction you are about to make, check it well and click ok if all is right.
Congratulations you have transferred steem to another user

Question 5
Do you know how to power up steem?

Answer yes I do, to power up I will have to follow the the below steps.
I will login to steemwallet.com with my active key and click on my steem balance as seen below

Next is to click on power up

Enter the amount of steem to power up

Then click power up.
The next step shows the preview of the transaction.

Confirm it and click ok.
That is the process of powering up on steemit.
