Well today’s discovery was a Western way to interpret an Eastern philosophy.
An important part of Buddhism is to not become attached to anyone, anything, or any situation.
There are two words that sum this philosophy up.
“Fuck it!”
(Sorry mum)
And it really does help a lot in creating a DTube video, for example if you are frightened about showing your face on camera
Think fuck it and do it anyway and here I am!

I’m recording this in a pub, sat alone, drinking a hot chocolate.
I can’t remember a time that I ever went and sat in a pub on my own in forever.
It might even be a first and I sat and recorded a video with swearing in it, which I rarely do in public anyway.
But I might get weird looks.
You know what?

That person who pissed me off last week, yesterday, or tooted because I had the audacity to walk over a level crossing, without making sure the cars stopped first?

The kids making that awful annoying repetitive banging sound when dancing and you don’t want to lose and tell them for the 109th time today…
Say Fuck it, fuck it, fuck for half an hour if you have to.
I am I control of my feelings, no-one else.
Maybe you’d rather break into song and sing Let it Go, but for me Fuck it works so much better.
Practise makes perfect, although on some things like singing, you need a modicum of talent. I could expose you to 3 seconds of my singing in a minute if I’m brave enough
(Nope not on that front today on re-listening)…
I'm say fuck it in crowded pub, gheesh, that's enough bravery for today.
I’m tone deaf and I don’t want to lose followers anyway. No-one likes to listen to bad singing.
Fuck what people think and be unmistakably you.
And if you are a lady, never ever do a video without your lipstick on!

Life is a mess enough as it is. We can't be giving ourselves extra baggage of caring about what people think or say to or about us. We only have one life to live and we will live it on our terms so FUCK IT!

I have to put it on after dropping off kids from school, as they hate having lipstick on their cheeks when I kiss them goodbye.
Thank you! I have been ditzing around with all kinds of excuses for not doing video. I don't do lipstick since the day my daughter and I went out for breakfast and she sat across from me holding up the menu because my red lipstick bothered her.
That was a joke anyway, I didn't wear lipstick until I split up from my husband as he didn't like it. So I take great pleasure in wearing it now.

Haha! I find a thin line between anger and humour, and you've made me laugh out loud such a lot with this post :-) I usually choose to expel the tension by laughing, but maybe I could use a little of that anger to put some steel into my determination and self-discipline? Worth a try :-)
