Are You Sad About STEEM Price?

I know people can be down in this bear market, but just don't be out! I want to put some positive thinking in the community, so here are some interesting details about what's happening with Steem:

• Steem Monsters is opensource, so others can use the template, and what these guys did was show everyone the power of Steem's future digital product market utilizing custom JSON objects.

• On github a guy is working on smart contracts for Steem via a sidechain. This is really cool.

• Lots of sites like Steemnow.com and Steemworld.org help people get analytical data that really assists us on the steem blockchain.

• SMTs and Hivemind aren't shabby, I'd have a little faith in it. Platforms such as Esteem, Partiko, SteemHunt and SteemPlus show us how we can utilize SMTs combined with delegations to reward people for activity on our own sites/projects.

• Don't underestimate the utility of delegation my friend, I think that's going to be huge over time, and RC delegation too. Steem is poised to be an SEO nightmare for its rivals, not Steemit, Steem. This means even if SP/RC/Accounts get to be more expensive over time the value in them will grow with the price. I expect that we're sitting on precious land with @account-addresses.

• Pay attention to account creation. Recently, the average per day for account creation was 175. If that average persists we're looking at 63,875 accounts per year, each needing to be powered up with no less than 5 STEEM and at a 3 STEEM burn. This means every account is worth 8 STEEM at minimum, or 511,000 STEEM against the Steem inflation rate, which is suppose to be around 8% and goes down by 0.5% each year.

Anyhoo, I know this place can seem like a ghost town at times, but its really not. Here is a few cool statistics:

There are a lot of blockchain projects I dig, and some of those others I expect to bring me more profit than Steem, but I wouldn't discount Steem, it has real potential. But honestly, forget potential, at least Steem lets non-developers or new-velopers actually do stuff.

Right now, if you're not skilled at Go, Rust, C++ or Solidity there's hardly jack squat all you can do with the other blockchains. Here, you can blog, vlog, meme or try your hand at making some crazy and unnecessary bot. That's awesome.
