Introducing myself to Steemit community

Hello, My Steemit Community!

I am here!

I am Hilenen Aben from Nigeria currently living in Yola, the capital city of Adamawa state. It is in the northeastern part of the country and it's one among the three states in the country that were heavily attacked by the Boko Haram insurgency. Adamawa state shares a border with Borno state where over 200 Chibok school girls were kidnaped.

I have physically lived all my life here in the country but I have been a virtual citizen, traveled and lived on all continents of the world. The internet and social media have taken me around the world and I’m happy to live in this era to experience the power of this forum. As I continue to grow old and expand my network, I’m also exploring opportunities that would take me physically around the world.

My Expectations
I’m so excited to be here in this great community of influencers and early adopters. I have heard, read and watched so many inspiring and motivating stories about this great community on how it’s revolutionizing the entire cyber space and financial systems of the world.

It’s no longer news that more than half of the world population is living in poverty and under 2 USD. I’m confident that a rewarding social media platform like Steemit, when it’s fully adopted by all from around the world, it will change the narratives.
Therefore, I’m here to learn, earn and teach, and invite others to come join this community so that together, we'd change the world.
