Hospital Hallways
I'm not a fan of going to hospitals because they give me flashbacks and weird vibe but last month, I had to go because my niece is about to say hello to this cruel world. I took some photos of the hallways cos a lot of emotional shit happens there.
I think hallways have more emotional energy than the patient's room itself. Inside the patient's room, the healing process takes place. Patients most likely won't feel any hurt emotionally because they are often resting most of the time, losing consciousness, or dying. XD
The hallways, on the other hand, have people mourning for the death of someone. They could also contain intense anxiety, like people waiting for their loved one to have a successful operation, or people worrying about hospital bills. Trust me, the hallways just have the shit. Even more meaningful than the morgue itself and I feel like hallways have always been underrated lol.
Took some pics of other parts of the hospital as well.
It' long, not quite wide, and suffocating part of the hospital that you'd always want to go find the room as fast as you can. Riiiight? Pretty sure I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I live thousands of miles away, but I recognise these hallways. I have spent a lot of time in them in the past 5 years (visiting people). There are also sights, sounds and smells that stay with you.
True, I can even smell these photographs.
I have always wanted to do a shoot like this, but every time I have the opportunity, it is not the kind of occasion to take my camera with. Once when our daughter was being rushed around, we were taken through basement levels due to renevotions above and I wanted to stop and take a photo, but it was definitely not the time. :)
Ah yeah, you made a good choice though. :D

I'm a Night Shift Nurse, hospital hallways definitely have a certain vibe especially at night.
Riiiigghhhttt? Earlier this year I had to accompany my mom at the hospital and it just really feels lonely and sad and nothing positive in the hallways.
