Boats But No Hoes :( Only An Art Hoe
We arrived at Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur after 14 hours of butt torture. I went to sleep early (at around 8pm) so I could recharge cos I had no sleep for more than 24 hours.
The next day at 10am, I went to the coastline which is just 2 min walk away from the house we’re staying in.
It was quite disappointing as you can see trash everywhere. Mindanao is beautiful, but has so many problems including this one. Hopefully they will do a coastline cleanup in the near future.
It was dirty but it definitely wasn’t the worst I’ve seen. The wind is still clean, without foul odor or something, and cold.
I brought my sketch pad with me and saw my subject.
I did the drawing for about 30 minutes (Yes I’m slow) but decided not to stay longer cos I didn’t apply any sunscreen.
Cool pictures! The beach needs a major clean up though :(

the drawing is so nice! i am glad you didn't stay too long though, skin cancer is a real danger for australians so we never stay out under the sun too long....
