I made a Sugar Skull Wreath.
I have been fascinated with sugar skulls since first saw them, perhaps it was my inner Mexican showing itself. I visit dollar tree every week to see what new things they have acquired. On my recent trip I came across a few sugar skull signs and bought one. I also bought a wreath frame, some purple fairy lights and some mesh rolls. Using ribbon and mesh I had from home I constructed this wreath. 
I know I should name her but I'm having trouble. Any suggestions?

I have about $12 dollars in her but I'm happy with my pretty girl without a name.

It looks intriguing... What is a sugar skull? I'm guessing it has something to do with Mexican folklore (I loved the game, Grim Fandango which had a great deal of Mexican folklore influences), but I'm about to go on stage, so I can not look out up!
she looks wonderful! I love the use of the black ribbons, because to me it looks like hair behind the mass of ribbons. You should try making actual sugar skulls. I did it one year with my roommate/best friend (who is Mexican) and there are kits you can buy online to make them! They're pretty simple, and when they're finished you can paint them as well! They were so much fun and great for party activities.
I'm googling them now. I didn't know this existed!
I really like the colours and style, it is both pretty and intriguing.
