Welp, it looks like my stay-at-home-mom time has come to an end. My last real job that didn't involve sporadically working for family was over 10 years ago. Bills have been piling up over the last few months and it is time for me to pitch in. I applied for a job as a Team Member at our local Tractor Supply Company.
I've also begun powering down...which really sucks because I hate not being able to support the steemians I want in the way that I want. I've already lost my slider. frowny face
So if you notice I am no longer upvoting comments, it's because I will lose my voting power too quickly if I just keep on a'clickin'.
I'm also working on some exciting new additions for my Etsy shop, Stoned Hill Creations. So keep an eye out for that.
I just wanted to let you all know what was going on so nobody thought the love had been lost. Not at all. Just trying to keep it to where I can give good vibes out without depleting my resources too quickly.

Calling is a good idea to prompt them to connect a personality with the bare details on your application. Did you find anything out?
Yep. I found out they have no positions available despite the website saying different. He said I've been added to their "Green" list for in case someone quits or is fired. He also said they have the same staff they had when they had their grand opening...about 8 months ago. So it doesn't sound like anyone will be leaving there anytime soon.
I also put in an application at one of our local gas stations for a cashier position and an application for some kind of gardening job that I didn't fully understand who it is for. Some company I've never heard of that claims to be local. I used Indeed.com for that one so who knows how that will work. Thanks for checking on me though! I appreciate it.

Good luck with finding a job! I know it's seems uncomfortable and maybe a little scary right now but maybe it will be a good thing in the end. I know sometimes I wish that I could hold down a job, because sometimes I feel useless and so very bored with the everyday life of laundry and house work. I hope it all goes smoothly for you! <3
