Street Art #220 Gleo (2019 Mural Festival), Montreal (Canada)
This is my last post about 2019 Mural Festival with the Colombian artist Gleo. I have enough pictures to see the evolution of her work, very huge mural with in background the Mount-Royal (big park in Montréal, in the middle of the city).
I didn't have time to look more precisely HF21 / 22 (I know I'm slow) but it seems that the purchase of bid-bot upvote isn't appreciated. Yeterday, the downvotes hurted a lot :-). I'll have to embrace #newsteem, a good thing if we see more quality content on Steemit. If you have tips to succeed under this new strategy, let me know in the Comment Section.

WHO
Gleo is a street artist from Cali in Colombia. She started graffiti at the age of 17 when she wanted to paint a white wall in front of her family's house. Now, she's one of the most famous Latin American street-artist. She often paints mystical characters with masks representing their virtues as you can see in this stunning mural.
First days, the background and the lines of the characters
"My work tries to highlight that spiritual part of which we are all ashamed lately, to represent that we are part of an infinite whole, we are energy that is transformed infinitely as the yellow eyes that I paint, they are a constant element that is symbol of the cycle and the infinite." - Gleo (source : I Suppport Street Art, interesting interview by the way)
The first face was quickly done
More work on this second with different layers and color's code for her assistants.
Her workplace
You need a lot of paint for a mural of this size.

Incredible work, it's so huge and brightful! Many thanks for sharing it!
You're welcome... Impressive mural indeed.
I love large-scale murals, it must be a great challenge to make murals of those proportions. great artist, I hope to have the opportunity to make one soon
Big preparation with a lot sketches... I saw her sketchbook when she was working on this mural.
It would be cool to see your work on a mural of this size. I hope we'll see that soon on Steem :-)
Great work! Your post was selected for curation by one of @curangel's dedicated curators for its contribution to quality!
...unfortunately, it had to be excluded from curation because you recently bought a vote from a bid bot (tipu). In our efforts to support #newsteem, authors who participate in vote buying are not eligible for our votes.
But don't worry. It only takes 7 days of not buying votes to be able to receive our vote again, so maybe one of your next posts will make it!
Take care and steem on!
Maybe next time, I just apply #newsteem strategy... thanks for the comment, it's encouraging.
