Hello steemians I hope you are very well, today I bring you a section 📸Photo memory📸 Knowing @hendersonp, in this opportunity the photos are of a facility that makes a friend of 2 eth mining rig, the installation of these equipments are a bit complicated, since the parts that make up the rig were not created for mining and tend to give some problems when we are installing them, it is very different with the ASIC, those computers have a much simpler configuration, as you can see in the photos all the parts are connected with a tangle of cables jejeje, but that is not difficult, normally the equipment throws some problems of incompatibility, to assemble these two rigs it takes me almost a week, while two ASICs to mine BTC can be configured comfortably in half a day.
The parts that make up a rig are the following:
- 6 GPU the most recommended are RX 570 and RX 580 8 GB
- A motherboard, the model will depend on how many GPUs you want to put to work, for 6 GPUs I recommend ASRock H81 Pro BTC
- 6 PCI-E extension cables
- At least 4GB of DDR3 RAM
- SSD storage unit of 60
- 1200W power source with gold certification or more
- Processor with a dual core LGA 1150 will suffice
- Operating system you can use Windows or Linux
Currently ETH mining is unprofitable, I think it is currently profitable only in Venezuela because the electric service although it is very bad and the power goes out several times a day is practically free, in countries like Spain at the moment it would be more expensive to pay the electric bill that the profit generated by the ETH rig.
I am in several mining groups some members have turned off the equipment because they can not afford electricity, others are taking out their own money to pay the electric bill and thus keep the currency, expecting a better price, we hope that the soon improve market and we see again those beautiful green candles, not only those who mine, also those who make life in steemit or those who do trading with cryptomonedas, we are all waiting for the rise to return our smiles XD, no doubt the low prices is the best time to accumulate tokens, although remember not to place all the eggs in one basket.
