Do you wait for anything or appreciate the present?

Hello, Steemians!

My day off is almost over. Now I don't want to speak about travelling. I want to speak about life and expectations.

In Russia they say: "Happiness is in little things". On the one hand, it's easy to say, but it's hard to realize and do.
I've always known if you can't change the situation, you should look at it in another way. However, day by day I made the same mistake.

One day I realized that I was always waiting for something and I couldn't enjoy the present time. I used to wait for weekends. Always I used to wait for summer. Waited, waited and so on.

I always found excuses for my waiting. I had to work hard. I didn't have enough time for myself. But I understood that it was wrong and harmful attitude to life. I decided to change something. But what?
I wasn't able to work less. I changed my schedule. I work at home and in the morning I used to spend 2-3 hours surfing the Net and chatting in Social Network sites. Instead of that I started doing morning exercises. Also, I started makeup a little. I'm really fond of eyeshadows. I've got a mini collection of them)))

In the evening I changed my habits too. My husband and I have a tradition to watch serials in the evening. But now I don't eat tasty snacks while we watch something. I do exercises and after that I do different masks for my face.

And the main thing - I don't wait. I try to see the present. Many things can make us happier. A nice new cup, which was given by the dearest person.

Or it can be a bunch of flowers on our table.

There are really lots of pleasant things around us. We should only see them!
