I Have A Feeling

I have a feeling that my life is about to change, that one of my long shots is about to hit, that something great is coming my way. I have always believed it would happen. I just didn't know when.

During my whole life, I have always been partly in control of my situations. I have always felt that the clock was ticking in my favor. Even when my situation wasn't perfectly comfortable, I knew it was temporary-- stationary, a step forward, a road towards the greatness that nobody promised me. The fate that nobody ensured... but myself.

I have no idea where did this feeling come from. Is it some kind of a prediction or just a temporary positivity? (I don't get those very often by the way) My bet is on the former. Maybe out of sheer confidence, but why would I spoil the joy or question it? Let it last. I'll enjoy it and I won't consider any possible consequences.

Mark my words! My life is going to change and my world will change with it. (I call "my world" everything I can change and everything I can affect).

They say the greatest change comes from within. I think I know what exactly I should change in me to deserve what I'm hoping for and dreaming about. It's time to act and I'm aware of it.

I have said this to myself before, I admit. And I've always meant it. Maybe I haven't been serious enough or serious for long enough, but I've tried several times, and I know exactly how hard this is. Why not once more, with more determination and more experience?

I hope I'll always remember September 23rd as the day it all started!
