Steemit and other cryptocurrencies will get very large as time goes on. We are moving more and more into a digital age, banks were made as an upgrade to barter when we needed standardized currency, and now as an upgrade to banks we are moving onto a direct form of payment without a bank as a middle man. Social media is also very popular so the creator of steemit was very successful at combining the two into one large platform. Getting on early like we did is likely a very intelligent investment of money and/or time so when it gets bigger, being on from the beginning will make us more successful users.
