Magic Eden(ME) has raised another funding as much as $27M.
Some of popular VC in crypto such as Paradigm, Sequoia Capital, Solana Ventures, Greystock Partners and others joined the funding round.

This funding round will help Magic Eden focus on Blockchain gaming.
ME launched its own Game Content Platform Eden Games on last 14th March that is a hub for Solana game publishers.
Users and Investors could easily enjoy all games in same place inside Magic Eden and buy/sell all relevant NFTs of the games.

Many games of Solana struggle to get enough eyeballs. Magic Eden that account for 90% of all Solana NFT 2nd market trading volume may support game publishers on this weak point.

One of strong point of Solana is its community’s healthy and young energy and very fast reaction to feedbacks. Magic Eden’s overall management and operation teams seem to be very young and work hard.
Magic Eden may have some weak points especially on the lack of skillful and mature operation of its business and platform and too much focusing on engineering matters as I feel.
But as most of Solana communities do, Magic Eden’s evolution speed is so fast to make up its immature areas.

I don’t know if Magic Eden could catch up Opensea or Opensea will get into Solana NFT world to defeat this new high potential competitor.
As Solana network gets stable one-by-one, there will be good battle area for Magic Eden not having big onstacle.

Small things now, if all things take its own way, someday we can see something big.
