The diary game season 3 // 23rd-05-2021 // Sunday church service was a huge success plus our Pastor got back from his travel (100% Power-up) by harrygwec

Trust we're all doing great. I will be taking us through my diary for Sunday 23rd May, 2021.

All in the sanctuary and not in a Mortuary

Sunday was great and a huge success too. I got up from the bed by 4:30am Nigerian time. I was really cold so i boiled some water to bath, and I brushed my teeth. After bathing I rushed to get my clothes so I can I them before the light is taken. What I was done, i dressed up and left for Christmas by 5:45am, finally got to church by 6:40am that was early because there was no traffic at that early hour.

Here I am, at my church located at Jibowu Yaba Lagos State. So I decided to take a selfie

I was seated patiently for our first service to begin and it finally started at exactly 7am and it started with one of the worship leaders taking the worship.

While the worship was on, we had our communion. After which we red our Snapshots Of The New Creation that is our Daily Devotional.

Prior to this day our pastor has been away, he travelled to the East for a program at our church at the East, Owerri to be precised.

So when we finally finished done with the Devotional our Pastor came up to preach in the person of Pastor Obie, we were all excited to see him, everyone screamed, shouted, everyone including myself was so excited to see him back.

Pastor's Ministration for first service

Ist Service Topic : The law of Self-control and Self-discipline.

Self-discipline means to do what should be done while Self-control has to do with you restraining yourself from doing something that you want to do.

These two are principles and the application of it is the single most important virtue you need to be successful in life. You can't get to the top if one don't apply Self-discipline and Self-control. Any leader who fails at this two principles isn't qualified to be one, because this is highly required.

Self-discipline needs Vision (Proverbs 29:18) while Self-control needs the Holy Spirit (Galantian 5:22-23). A lot was said, but I would stop here pls.

Our second service started almost immediately after the first service. Here the worship leader came up to take the the worship.

Powerful Worship session

After the Worship was Praise. At this point, it was dance, praise all the way. I danced myself to my breakthrough, my miracles, my favour etc.

When praise was over, our Pastor came up to preach, teach.

Pastor's Ministration for second service

Second service Topic: Hiding yourself in the secret place of the Most high
Text : Psalm 91:1

The secret place of the Most High God is the presence of God in the heavenly.

With the killings, kidnappings and all sort of wicked things happening in this present days we are not to live out lives at ease, we are meant to be the carrier of the presence of God. The presence of God is the access that we have as believers.

..."the shadow of the almighty" talks about Protection, coverings... So in this time we need wake up, we need hide ourselves in the secret place and this speaks about PRAYER. We need to be really prayerful this season, this isn't the time to sleep. We ought to pray and not faint at this time. I would stop here pls.

All attentive to God's Word

After we rounded up the service, we had our usual workers meeting and it lasted for some minutes, then our wonderful pastor came to speak to us about a prayer meeting holding in the evening around 5pm Nigerian time, which would last for 3hours.

For those who don't stay close like me, we had to stay back at the church venue for the prayers by 5pm.

And indeed the prayer session was Powerful. After the prayers everyone went their different destination.

So I got home late in the night by 10pm, I had bread and moi-moi as dinner, freshened up and rested for the night to wake up by 12am for midnight prayers, which lasted for an hour.

And that was how i spent my Sunday 23rd May, 2021.
