Today I just wanted to get back into the video groove a little bit with a quick update with what I've been working on lately. Busy busy!

Thanks for watching!

This was great on so many levels. First I got to see you which just opened up the realm of @harrisonmir . I cant tell you enough how great it is to hear you talk about the music and all your doing and also to hear you are working on that remix track, thanks for the shout and I cant wait to hear that! DSound is incredible, I been making sure to get everything up on there, and now moving over to things I want to put on dtube. Its like the flood gates of awesome just opened up for us sound creators. woo

Seriously, I love it! And yeah of course! I can't wait to finish this remix, it's been really fun so far.

Dude, congrats on the Dsound success. I've been watching you landing one huge Dsound upvote after another and reveling in your success as proof of concept that -legitimately- good electronic music can not just survive but thrive on the platform. The Sonic remixes are killing it dude! I actually just received my first Dsound upvote (and am accordingly ULTRA STOKED) ... as somebody who is also not looking to game the system and more just make the most out of my content (i'm literally writing new music specifically for the platform as most of the albums I'm on would be somewhat complicated to rerelease on Dsound) ... do you have some good tips for maximizing exposure on the platform? I still feel green and definitely think a comprehensive GET BIG ON DSOUND guide is in order. I've been hanging on the discord server some, but where would you say the majority of the community congregates, and what are your best tips for surfing the Dsound hashtag?

Is that enough annoying questions? It's funny to me that when I'm grinding out comments I sometimes can't bring myself to write another word, but get me talking about music on this platform and I am like commander multiple paragraph TLDR.

Haha dude no worries! Always happy to hear from ya.

I think I might actually do a post on this to talk about a couple of the things I've noticed about the platform. The overarching rule that I keep coming back to is just, make great music. Then subdivide that into where did it come from, who was involved, what did you use to make it, etc.

From what I know, DSound is curated by people, so telling them a little bit about who you are and what you do goes a long way. I'll also say that honestly I have no idea how the process/bots work for upvoting, so anything I say, Steemians should take with a grain of salt (that's just my personal experience).

But congrats on getting your first big (and much deserved) upvote!

All solid advice. It definitely doesn't hurt to have a backlog of a material to post on there ... I'm thinking I might take some of the Maserati catalog online on there sooner rather than later and see how it does.

Was watching the Dsound discord today and @prc mentioned it's curated both by bots and humans. I think becoming part of the community is always going to be the most organic, least selfish way to get attention from a music scene (and this goes way infinity beyond even dsound) ... I was mostly curious where you have been hanging out (on the discord or otherwise) to meet people, get involved and get noticed.

... you know in a not sleazy traditional music industry LISTEN TO MY THINGS NOW PLS sorta way. This whole steemit/dsound/dtube experience just -feels- different, yah know?

Absolutely agree on all accounts. Truthfully, I wasn't out to grab some crazy upvotes or anything when I started, they just kinda started happening.

I always leave an hour or two at the end of my day to wind down and just listen, and of course comment on what I'm listening to. Not to get followers or votes, but just to be a part of things. Ironically, I think that's a much more successful approach in actually getting those things without even trying lol.

Totally agree.

By the way, can you link me to the DSound Discord? And usually you can find me in the SLMS here: https://discord.gg/zku8RFM
