SEC S6W3 : IF I WAS 'STEEMCURATOR 01'

To be honest this is a great and tough job with a lot of responsibility.

As a lead curator, you need leadership skills and an open mind. That's how to work or design thinking so that a leader can be successful in all situations, especially difficult times like today. They call it "crypto winter".

Being the main curator can be said to be the highest achievement for a steemian in his contribution to the growth of steem in the present and the future. Curation plays a role and contributes in determining the direction or goal of steemit. Without realizing it, many steemians are stuck with the types of posts that are considered capable of attracting SC01 attention by putting aside idealism to pursue good curation. The dynamics that occur on the steemit platform make the task of being SC01 not easy and complicated. Many criticisms that came, unfortunately not accompanied by alternative solutions from the critics. Thank you is an appropriate word from me for the work and performance of SC01 so far for steem and steemit. Thanks also to the Recreative Steem Team for the brilliant idea as a space for expression for us contestants to explore the roles, duties and responsibilities as @steemcurator01.

▶️What would you do if you were the operator of the steemcurator01 account?

The key to trust is integrity and I am required to implement integrity values at work as SC01. But before developing this task, of course, we also have to prepare ourselves with expertise related to curating assignments. The main skill I will probably develop is speed reading. This skill will really help me to be able to understand information or the contents of a reading quickly and in a relatively short time so I won't miss checking other users' posts.

We have never received information on how many people manage SC01 accounts. Is it one two or three? No one knows. Without mastering the technique of speed reading. That would be a serious problem. This skill is mandatory for SC01.

▶️What are your criteria for selecting author publications and rewarding them?

Originality
The main and most important criterion for me to provide curation is due to the originality that distinguishes Steemit from other platforms. An effective campaign to eradicate plagiarism and improve the quality of writing can be carried out through SC01 curation for writers who have credibility. Originality is of course not only limited to informative and educative writing or aesthetic photographs, but also new ideas.

Consistency
My next priority is those who consistently post on Steemit. They are a great example of how steemit can grow and need to be motivated to do better with the right curation. Consistency in all situations can only be achieved by true steemians. Those who are still around today deserve to be appreciated.

▶️What type of content would you dedicate the highest percentage of votes to?

I'm trying not to get into the specifics for this question. All types of content have a life with their particulars. I will avoid taste, subjectivity and emotional connection in judging a post. The effort and overall quality of the post will get a high percentage of votes from me. Another important point is the usefulness of the post for readers.

▶️How to ensure that the potential of the curator account is used to its full potential?

During my selection and being part of the Community Curator Team, I always curate 4 segments a day. Curation will be carried out when the voting power reaches 100% until it decreases to 95%. This strategy also leaves me time to calmly read the next curated post. This strategy is very good and profitable curation recipients.

▶️How many people will operate the account to function properly?

For a community curation team, I think 5-7 curators have a lot of potential for good work. However, specifically for SC01 I have another opinion. Ideally 2 or 3 curators.

Currently the main curator or SC01 has a very large role and contribution to the management of the steemit platform including the development of the steem community, the dominance of post contest types and many other basic things that are determined by the curation factor. Therefore, SC01 must have the same mission when working as a team as implementing the vision of Steemit.inc.

▶️Will you reveal your identity or prefer anonymity?

Always better synonyms for the position for independence in work. Emotional connection and personal mission will lead to unfavorable stigmatization for stakeholders.
