After reading @iamjadeline's post about spending time with her life partner, I decided I shall 'repent' too and spend some time with the husband, without my lil follower tagging along, interrupting everytime I try to speak to his daddy. Coincidentally, the student I'm supposed to tutor asked to cancel class, so I have an empty free slot today! As we were stepping out of the door, my son was reluctant to let me go, hugging me by my leg to keep me in. So I left with him crying and yes, I too would think if I made a good decision. However, like what I learnt from @iamjadeline, our spouses are as important too! I hardened my heart and went off with the husband. (But Hahaha, both of us are still recovering and still kind of sick-ish. What a time to date, right?)
So I tagged along the husband to Big Hug Burger which has its first customer, @aaronleang paying in Steem. I have got to witness this new milestone! (YAYYYYY!!) After that, we went to patronize his ex-crew who opened a stall in this very nice food court, Estate Food Market in Setapak which has ALL KINDS of food! I saw this authentic carbonara with egg yolk and I knew immediately I had to try!

We also shared a pork burger from the husband's ex-crew's stall. The husband has eaten it many times and never fail to brag about it every single time so I know I must try it too! Indeed, it was very juicy and moist, with a nice char over the grill. It is coupled with a fried egg which escalated the taste even better! It should be the best pork burger around here!
All these great food are found in this food court which feels clean and spacious with a modern twist to the usual kopitiam (food court in a local slang) .
After a great dinner, we decided to walk at a nearby mall to run some errands and perhaps just to check some things out. It has been a while since we can talk properly and giving each other a one-to-one attention, keeping ourselves off social media and phones (Guilty as charged, I was thinking: "woo-hoo I can steem today and write my post without a constant 'Mom! MOM, Mommy!' from the boy!" but we decided to not use our phones too much at such time, except to take photos of food :P)
Of course, the night would not have been complete without some desserts as a comfort and cure to my sweet tooth! Before heading home, we stopped by this shop, Hui Lau Shan (which originates from Hong Kong I think because I tasted it when I was there). The first thing my husband exclaimed was: Wow, the cushion is so comfortable, as if the bottom got some special therapy, Hahaha! As we were eating there, things seemed to slow down all of a sudden, and I for once didn't feel I need to rush home to my little one. It is also because I know he is in good hands. This really felt like a date, just like the old times. 😁😁😁
We tried a few desserts there. My husband doesn't go for fruits which are strong in taste and smell. So happened I like them, Hahaha. What are the odds right? There is this thing called durian crisps, which is actually D24 durian ice-cream with chocolate chips, sandwiched between two thin pieces of biscuit kind of crisps and I ordered that, of course. He tried one piece and I applauded him for that,
as I don't push him to like the things I do.
I think the coolest about this crisps is the ice cream didn't melt into a puddle but they stayed in shape, even though I took some time to finish all 7 pieces of them!
Not knowing the durian crisps come in so many pieces, I ordered a mango with steamed milk too. Smooth and not too sweet, it made me reminisce the one I had in Hong Kong years ago. It looked very pretty and the taste wasn't disappointing too.

Finally, after finishing off the food, we chit chatted a while and headed home. The little one was of course overjoyed to see us. Then, the three of us spent some time "jamming" in the room because the little one wanted a complete band when his daddy started to play his guitar and I was forced to enrol too. It was a great family time and now that everyone is asleep, it is my time to write my post-of-the-day! It is nothing too elaborate but a good time with my best friends, the husband mostly and secondly the son for today.
I appreciate my husband @danielwong. One thing that always puzzles me is he has so many talents and he has got a rather good look too, which I have none, but why did he choose me? Hahaha. (Obviously, multi-talented people have many fans, which I am included too in that pool of fans! LOL) Besides him being all smart and multi-talented, he is my favorite person to talk with. He can see things in me that I can't see. He speaks the most affirmative words, he supports and yet not agree blindly with me. When I get upset with him, he still knows how to make me laugh and then I forget why I was upset with him. He uplifts me and he corrects me. He leads me and he loves me 😘 Sometimes, in our busy life, I need to remind myself how grateful I am for him. So today, I must deliberately thank God for the husband, the one I have chosen and continue to choose!
in fact, what I do is just take the pictures with my phone and then use google photos auto edit tool, very easy to use and most of the time I'm happy with the result, just on very few ocasions I manually tweak it
hehe no I mean that if you see a picture using G"oogle Photos" you can go to Edit and then select Auto, it fixes the photo. Hope you can try it one day :P

Hahaha @coloringiship I know right? Guilty as charged. After I went home to look at the photos taken, I felt OMG, why didn't I exercise self-control? It's almost like I tried to eat everything that is difficult to eat if we were to go out together with our boy!
P/S: This is not all, I didn't upload one or two that my husband himself took! :P oh my fatness!

aww thanks haha :) I try to take good pictures of what I eat and then tweak a little the photo, but not too much. That helps a lot to the picture

Hahaha thanks :) I too shy to post too much of these type of posts, so will mellow down a bit. We also only date once in monthssss.
