Freewrite Prompt: Face Mask

Newly wedded, Brian went on his first symposium for surgeons in Taiwan. Before flying back, he made sure he asked his wife what she wants from Taiwan.

"Hey honey, I am coming home tomorrow, do you want me to get you something from here? I have a day to do shopping today," Brian called his wife, Chivelle.

"Oh yes honey. I would love to have some face masks. If you can get them for me, I would be delighted. Maybe about 10 of them?" Chivelle sounded excited over the phone. She has heard her colleagues talked about how cheap and good the face masks they got from Taiwan.

"You sure you want face masks? We have tons of them at home," Brian was a bit puzzled. Why would he buy face masks all the way over when he has boxes of them at home and in his office?

"Yeah honey, they are not the same in Taiwan. I love you, " Chivelle was still firm with what she wanted.

"Very well then, I love you and I see you soon. Miss you babe, "Brian hung up the phone and got ready to go out. He went to different shops and collected different variety of masks with different designs.

Finally, he was home. Chivelle was just finished with her blackheads removal and she was happy to see her husband. After a kiss, she asked him for the face masks because it was just the right time to use them. She lied down on the laid back couch and asked Brian to put the face mask on her.

Suddenly she felt her mouth was covered. She was a bit shocked, only to find he got her SURGICAL FACE MASKS!!

"Honey, not these masks, I meant the beauty face masks!!!" She laughed and almost choked by her laughter.

Brian suddenly realized the mistake. "Oh my goodness, our communication breakdown. We were speaking different 'languages', I was thinking of surgical masks the whole time!"

"Now, that's our difference, difference between a man and a woman, " Chivelle was still laughing in disbelief. Brian was also laughing and suddenly all his exhaustion from the trip was gone. It's good to be home.
