4English - The must-have app for English learner!
I have learnt english properly for just 2 years, mainly by myself, little by little. That is why my english is kind of improper, my vocab is so poor and I always make a lot of mistakes in grammar, pronunciation and word-choice.
Recently, my job has required more about english skills, so I think I really need a better way to learn and improve quickly to meet the requirement.
My friend recommended an english app and I find it really useful. The app is named 4English and available for free download on Appstore.
After few days of experiencing the app, I really think that this app is a must-have app for english learners. The app will help you to improve your english skills comprehensively.
First of all, 4English will enrich your vocabulary, especialy academic vocabulary by providing so many english articles in a lot of topics from business, politics, environment to showbiz, entertainment, etc. You need to choose at least 3 topics that you feel interested and start reading. It helps to improve your reading and pronunciation as well.
Besides, the interface, feature and the way of design of the app are so smart. It is really convenient for users and facilitate their experience with the app.
While reading, if there is any word that new for you, you can just tap the word twice and it will show the meaning of the word in many dictionaries and contexts for you to fully understand. There are Cambridge, Oxford, English - Vietnamese dictionary (because I’m Vietnamese), Glosbe, Longman, etc available for your reference. It’s also able to translate the whole paragraph if you wish to.
An additional dictionary is also combined into the app for your ease of learning and searching. Normally when reading ebook or news in english, I really hate to keep switching from the ebook to the dictionary just to find the meaning. It makes me bored and stop reading after few times of switching. But this one, you dont need to open two apps at the same time. You can use the dictionary combined in the app to search meaning and keep learning on the app concurrently.
Besides, the app also helps users to enhance theirs listening skill with so many videos and podcasts. With videos, it is designed in different levels for you to choose. You will not only listen but also need to fill up the missing words. And the english subtitle is really helpful for your practise.
I also love the Vocabulary section where the lists of words are shown such as 3000 common words, 1000 TOEIC words, 4000 IELTS words,etc . And you can see the list and mark the word known/unknown and see how rich your vocabulary is.
I have just downloaded 4English for a few days and felt so excited to share it with you guys. There are a lot of functions that I have not explored yet. Now I’m using the free version and totally satisfied with it.
If I need more functions, I’m definitely gonna pay for upgrade one. As I remember It costs about 30$ for lifetime use.

Recently I felt that my english has ever been good at all. Hahaa. This app is really good for learning english. Really. But the articles are kind of boring, just like news. I have never enjoy reading news. Lol. I just hope that I can keep this energy to keep learning english with this app. ^^.
