Today I am involved in achieving my success.

Plagiarism is bad and very common nowadays, but there are ways to detect it. First let's look at what is stolen on the web:

What is plagiarism

Plagiarism is the act of presenting someone else's work, material, or ideas and presenting it as his or her work. In other words, theft is just an act of fraud. This includes both terms, such as stealing someone else's work, presenting it as their work, and then lying. Simply put, plagiarism is copying someone else's work words or ideas without giving credit, giving false information about the source of the quote. Also, it is important to remember that there are many types of plagiarism.

That is to say, copying any document, photo, research, newspaper article or magazine, letter or video that is made by other people and we use it to our advantage, then it is very vile and immoral thing. As users and content creators on this Steemit platform we must create original and authentic content.

There are several types of theft, so let's take a look at what the web tells us:

The 5 most common types of theft:

Direct plagiarism

This is a serious form of plagiarism because it involves copying part of one's work word for word without quotation marks. Copying someone else's work is unethical and scientifically dishonest, and can result in disciplinary action or expulsion from the institution. Source

Self plagiarism

Theft itself is the most accessible and straight forward form of theft. This is an excellent example of borrowing material from someone's previous work without the knowledge of a professor. Source

Accidental plagiarism

If an author or authors fails to cite their source, unintentionally paraphrasing or any other work without attribution, then the author commits plagiarism. It is accidental theft and although the word accidental is attached to it, this form of theft is given equal importance as any other form of theft.

Paraffrasing

In plagiarism, an author usually copies or takes the main idea or some important points from someone else's work. After using some synonyms and reconstructing the sentences, they incorporate this material into their work and present it as their own material but without proper attribution.

Mosaic plagiarism

This is the process in which students use synonyms to change the words of the original material and present the work in their own way. In mosaic plagiarism, students use the author's basic or main idea and argument only with a change of words or phrases or reproduce with their own words and phrases without changing the meaning or main purpose of the original material. Avoid from it

It's best to be original and share authentic content so that there are no legal or copyright issues. In addition, many countries charge large sums of money for this crime. If you use images, documents or web content, be sure to publish the source from which you take it and thus avoid being labeled as a thief.

Theft is a blatant theft of information from an author. This is a bad thing, because it affects the original author and gives rise to many other legal issues with this information or work. When you use your camera and take a photo of your choice and publish it on your social network, it is not considered plagiarism, it is yours and the way someone took your photo is its source or originality. You can do this without telling anyone. Be a victim of theft.

It is important to know that this is plagiarism and it is not, because I would not like to know that someone has stolen my posts, photos, videos etc ... which I have posted or shared Because it would be very unpleasant to experience. We must respect foreign things and thus acknowledge that all work takes time and effort.

When taking a picture or phrase from the web, the source or quote should be placed in the quotation marks and with the corresponding source, usually we do not all have our own pictures of the references we want to cite. Yes, that's right you can now become known as a Lord of the Rings. Use more resources to avoid this type of crime. Also, there are images in the public domain that we can use without many promises like pixabay or others.

I hope you enjoyed this post, which I find valuable.
