Winter is Almost Here

Good Morning all!

Winter is almost here, it has felt quite cold after being out this morning. Although winter does not have much effect on city life. Because of the dense population of our city, the condition of old Dhaka is very bad. There is no situation in understanding the state of the outside of the room. This year, however, the arrival of winter has begun a bit differently. Due to which people are worried that the winter levels will be comparatively high. Because of the increasing environmental pollution.

Whatever we call development and development! In this one place we are all defeated, because we have failed to control the pollution of the environment, the environmental disaster is widespread in our development. The environment around us is constantly changing because of us. And the environment is in turmoil. Due to which we are experiencing natural disasters like untimely floods, winter rains, tides etc. What are we basically doing in the name of development? In addition, the environment is being polluted due to deforestation, traffic congestion, loss of environment and setting up of industries without fitness. This is playing a major role in climate change.

Frankly, we have seen a lot of publicity as a deterrent initiative. However, the use of polythene could not be stopped later due to various business interests. Although we know that polythene is seriously damaging the environment. But still we cannot control its production, just to make more profit. Due to polythene, our land, environment, rivers and seas are extremely polluted.

We also know that our country is one of the most vulnerable to global warming. But still we are not aware of this; we cannot take any effective action. Many times, the World Bank reports that Bangladesh will be the most vulnerable to pollution and environmental risks. The impact, of which we have already noticed, is that untimely floods, cyclones and tides are increasing twice as much.

Although some conscious citizens are constantly trying to unite all of them. But frankly, if we are not aware of ourselves, and are not too keen on protecting the environment, no one can save us from environmental disaster and our destruction.

We must unite now to cut down the trees, fill the natural reservoirs, stop the use of chemical fertilizers in the agricultural land, and control the waste system of the industrial plant. More forest and fruit trees should be planted, planned forestry should be created. Only then will it be possible to protect our country from environmental disaster.
