Of all the things that I dreamed for we both,
I always had one thing clear:

Whatever came, I wanted it with you.

Although I have to admit:
I didn't always know that you would be,
I didn't always know that you are.

I always wanted your plenitude,
although that sometimes implies sacrificing my own.

I can't wish you but happiness;
even if you don't find it with me.

I wish that any day,
you receive an unexpected blow of love,
such a great love,
with which you can never feel poor,
but on the contrary you know the most fortunate man in the world;
Although that love isn't mine.

I want you to fall in love,
as strong as you never imagined;
although it isn't with me.

I want you to find a face,
with a look, and such a smile,
that you call it "my home";
Although that face isn't mine.

I wish you never get hurt,
but that is too much to ask.

Instead, I wish you'll never hurt anyone,
I promise you that life will know how to compensate you.
