U.K. Trip (2) Stonehenge / 英國之旅 (二）巨石陣

After a quick tour in The Roman Baths, I rushed to the shuttle bus stop of the my local Stonehenge tour. The tour company was Scarper Tour. Price was £35 including round trip shuttle bus and entrance ticket of Stonehenge. When I arrived, shuttle bus was already there waiting.

匆匆參觀過古羅馬浴場之後，我趕到前往巨石陣的觀光巴士站。這一次我參加了Scsrper Tour的巨石陣觀光團，£35的價錢已經包括來回巨石陣的旅遊巴士和入場票。當我到達巴士站時，已經見到巴士在等待着。

It was almost an hour drive from Bath to Stonehenge. When the bus arrived, I found that there was basically a construction site. The tour guide told us it was because they were building facilities to welcome more visitors, like a bigger parking lot, new visitor center just completed, etc.

由巴斯到巨石陣車程大約一個小時。到埗時發現工程處處。導遊說那裡正在擴充以迎接更多的遊客。例如剛剛落成的新遊客中心，正在興建的新停車場等等。

I waited shortly at the Visitor Center for the tour guide to get ticket. From there visitors could either take a bus to where the Stonehenge is or they could walk. Since there was very windy and with low temperature, people felt very cold, so most of the visitors selected the bus, so did I.

在下車處等了一會兒，導遊就派了入場票給我。遊客可以選擇坐巴士或是步行到巨石陣。因為當地非常大風加上溫度底，所有人都覺得很冷，所以我跟大部分人一樣，都是乘坐巴士的。

A few minutes later I was at the Stonehenge. Visitors were not allowed to get close to the Stonehenge itself in order to protect. Therefore, I could only see and take photos from a distance. Frankly, I was a little bit disappointed about not able to get closer.

只要幾分鐘就到達巨石陣。由於要保護文物，遊客是不可行近巨石陣的。我亦只好從遠處觀看和拍照。老實說，真的有點失望。

Since it was very cold out there, I returned to Visitors Center after 30 mins. There was a museum next to it, so I got a chance to learn more about this pre-historical constructions.

因為太冷的緣故，我只逗留了大約30分鐘就回到遊客中心。之後就到隔壁的博物館參觀，了解一下這組史前建築。

I shopped for some souvenirs before I caught my return shuttle to Bath and then back to London Gatwick.

離開前還買了記念品。之後就回到巴斯再轉火車回倫敦去。
