Counting the Shooting Stars + Light Painting

in #ntopaz5 years ago (edited)

There was a reason we went up all the way up north with friends. Along the way we stopped at the Maryhill Stonehenge in Washington upstate USA.
After the wedding of my dear friends, there was a photographers meetup near Mt. St. Helens. We wanted to do two things. Light Painting and hopefully catch some Meteors. It was the fourth event of its kind. We call it the Meteor Jam.

In persuid of a milky way shot with some meteors and some Light Painting these came out.

The first photo you see has 3 Shooting stars in it.

The 2nd has also 3 Meteors and the 3rd has 2 and the 4th has at least one that i found.

How many do you count?

Most of these exposures were at least 25-30 seconds long, using a 12mm Laowa F2.8 lens.
In all the shots my friend Dan helped me with the light inside the structure, i painted the outside of it.

I imagine you enjoying the view, the breeze, the brainstorm, so you thing on the things to do when you return home, so many things have to go through your head at that moment, until you take the picture! and you have to go home; It looks very pretty <3

Glad you like it. Yes I enjoyed that night very much. The Meteor I actually really just saw now when I sat down on the PC downloading the pictures. I did not check so far. 😁

Oooh A nice surprise xD

what incredibly beautiful pictures you took. Nice thank you :)

thank you so much - did you find anymore shooting stars ?

so far i have never seen anyone who has made such a great picture. i am really thrilled, i also need a camera. Really good job :)

Beautiful shots. Of great technical difficulty. In the part where I live I don't think it's possible to get a similar shot of the Milky Way. The truth is that the play of lights looks very good. The illumination of the interior gives a great contrast with all the surrounding penumbra. Very good work. Congratulations.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Iam very glad you took the time to have a close look. Thanx again.
