Zion NP - Milkyway Pine - Light Painting
On the hunt for some interesting tree's i travel the world. Here you see a small little pine at Zion's National Park lit in a soft light by my head lamp in red and white. Since i was in in ISO 6400 i had to be very carefully not to blow out the image with my lamp during the 30 seconds.

Just curious - did you shoot in auto-ISO, or did you set the ISO to 6400? And what starting point do you recommend for aperture? Is this fairly stopped down, or do you start open and adjust as needed?
I set it manually to 6400 and I think it was on F2. 8 on my 14mm Samyang. Lighting the scene very carefully and fast. So here very simple.

Fantastic - I appreciate the info! I've had my eye on the Samyang (not sure yet if I'll grab the AF or manual version) for doing more with landscapes. I love your work!
I can recommend also the Laowa 12mm 2.8 Zero-D - after testing it for a few weeks now i do like it a bit more.

Love this very unusual color contrast you have managed to present here using red color lamp. Quite surrealistic in fact
Very interesting diagonal composition supported by vertical pine tree, a lot of dynamics here. Also nice contrast of lightened part of image with pure darkness from the left part and all this combined with a Milky Way!
Right time and right place I would say :D And yeah, right photographer of course!
Not the best one from your all artwork, but still a stunning work. Keep up your creativity.
