SteemitBoard Carnival Challenge - The Post
Well, I got to tell you something real disappointing. Will be a shocker. Real big one.
Ready for this?
Let's get an image in the way to keep it a bit more real.
Cars have nothing to do with a carnival.
No, that's not the shockers. Should be, but isn't.
I have never been to a carnival, the carnival, or any carnival.
Had to look it up. Still have vaguely no idea.
Probably the only carnival I heard of with some detail of knowledge, if this can be described as a detail of knowledge, is a Carnival Cruise. Never been on one, not too fond of all those possible Titanic situations, but you get the picture.
So in short, my experience is right here. ↑
I'd post a picture or two of a real carnival from good old Google Images but here's the thing: I'm a coward. Those will just get me in trouble. Wouldn't want that to happen.
Finally,
A waffle for a special lady.

Lol, geez I wish I had thought of this. All I have are carnival pictures from 7 yrs ago. OML, that bit about the cruise line I thought only my overthinking arse would think up stuff like that, the what-ifs. Thanks for making my day end with a huge chuckle.
Thanks for enjoying the 1am ramblings of a madman.
What is a carnival cruise ?
It's just a giant cruise ship.
Hahaha. Yea I knew that I just needed something to follow the carnival theme.

What the heck!?! They don’t let you have carnivals up in Canada?! Or do you crazies just call it something else? 🤔
You aren’t missing much, they are a bit sad most of the time.. even though we call them “fairs” around these parts.. but my goodness I didn’t have to google it. 😜
There's one around here that I've never been to. Pretty sure it'd qualify as "cultural appropriation" to go.
I grew up in South Jersey and what is known as Carnival we called: Shrove Tuesday which is the day before Ash Wednesday (I grew up in the Episcopal Church). We would have pancakes. Later, when I lived with my Puerto Rican foster-parents (Assemblies of God/Pentecostals), they did not celebrate.
I have never been to Carnival, but did have a layover in New Orleans once. Those folks don't need Carnival as an excuse to party from my experience. Bourbon Street is off the hook!
