Frozen Waterfall In cold Estonia
This place is Keila Joa waterfall in Estonia and is the last location i went with my friends couple of days back. I knew this waterfall would be frozen after a week of harsh cold temperatures and it was offering me great opportunity to get some photos. Right now this waterfall is mostly frozen but there are some years when winter has been very snowy and suddenly warm temperatures occur in the spring time and all the snow begins to melt, you can actually feel the earth shake under your feet due to flooded waterfall strenght.
Have you ever dreamed of jumping into the natural icy bath ?. If so, this is the place for you to make this dream come true. Water flow has formed a perfect icy bath in here.
Oh look someone took a picture of us taking pictures.
Next to the waterfall stands operating hydro power plant. Go green energy!!
Area around the waterfall is surrounded by Keila Joa park, full of forest, different bridges and short hiking trails.
Building next to the river whitch is actually fine dining restaurant.
Some recently married people do like to keep tradition to lock a padlock with their names on specially made statue of poles. There are actually thousands of more padlocks that are not on this photo.
Oh and yes today happens to be valentines day so happy valentines day to everyone!!
Beautiful!

Though I have yet to encounter one in real life, frozen waterfalls actually remind me of movie scenes where everything is stuck frozen in time. That really looks like an enchanting place though :)
Haha in this case water movement got stuck in time.
While this frozen waterfall is magical, i assure you that it is as beautiful in summer as well.
The images are out of this world and so awesome.
I am glad you like them :)
