The Right Mindset
Our minds shape the way we live on earth. Looking at Jesus, it was His mindset that enabled Him to live a successful physical life in humility and obedience to the Father. The mind is so important that if we don't constantly renew it, we can't live a victorious life in Christ. This is why the the Lord admonished "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans12:2 ". The level of the renewal of our minds is directly proportional to the acceptability of a man before God.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Philippians2:5 -6
A mind that is not renewed is prone to a robbery thought pattern. It's the natural mind that goes for benefits, position, control, etc at the expense of the will of God. A mind that is not renewed can't be humble and submissive to God. Thus, we are to have the mind of Christ: a mind that submits.
Take a look at your mind. What are your desires? Is it to control others with your wealth, influence or position? Are you ambitious for the purpose of manipulating others with your achievements? Have a rethink today and change your mind, for a man's life does not consist of the abundance of the things he possess, but the measure of God's presence and dominion upon him.

Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your word today. Please help us to renew our minds daily and so live in your victory, in Jesus name. Amen.
This is so true. I am a follower of buddhist teachings and they preach the same thing "Be careful how you think, your life is shaped by your thoughts, we become what we think". Mindfulness and sel awareness really ia important

If you are truly a Christian,your mind need to be renewed and flashed off every evil that will stain our garments and let God take total control of our minds daily.

I experienced a "renewal" of the mind a few years ago. It came after a heartbreak, but soon after I found myself in a place of deep isolation. It was a very dark and painful time, but when the light came back to me, my mind had significantly changed. My mind was noticeably different and my needs had changed. Now, I've fully invested my life choices into what God wants for me and I've experienced tremendous power in that. What I am told is typically illogical and risky, but it has always proved to be what allows me to grow and thrive.
