Anyways a fanart or one of my favourite games, Persona 4. This time it's just a simple fanart, so I'm gonna to Teddie, which is...... a bear? Monkey? Thingamagic? I dunno....

By the way, mixing up simple shapes to form the body of this creature is the best part. Yeah, it's simple but pretty effective...

Inking.

....Yeah, nothing much to say here... Just underlining the most solid of lines for a better shape for Teddie...

Base colors.

Basically I just follow the color palette from the official artwork LOL XP...

Details.

Basically I just mix some black and yellow colors....

Background.

Since the thematic colors for Persona 4 is yellow, I used it for my background colors. Those boxes are also somewhat a part of the design too, so I made some boxes and follow accordingly. Basically those boxes have something to do with mass media or TV, but I guess playing the games itself might have some better idea on these shapes.

Final adjustments.

...Which is nothing much. I just put Teddie on the background LOL...

Anyways, Persona 4 was some of my favourite game on the Playstation 2. It has a unique premise for a JRPG. And for those who know about the Hero's Journey either for your studies, especially storytellers, there's a lot to appreciate in this game, since most Persona games implement Jungian psychology in it.. In fact, the Hero's Journey, or more precisely, "The Hero with a Thousand Faces" by Joseph Campbell are based on the idea of Carl Jung's idea of psychology. Thus, this games terminology and ideas greatly influence the way the game works. Plus, since the premise of this game is based of the real world somewhat (I mean bizarre situations are not really real anyways, but you need an interesting premise for a game, right?) rather than many fantasy/sci-fi settings for a JRPG, it makes the world more unique, fresh and interesting.

Anyways, enough of me rambling about this game before it becomes unBEARable.......
