Kawatsu ready to fight

when they get to his house to finish the job, Tenshiryu sees how this man is living, he knew that the lower ranked samurais did kidnaping jobs to corrupted people or just to high class people to get money for the shogun, he himself did a lot of those jobs, but this one was different, the shogun send the best samurais to kill a man that was living alone in a little house, why was the shogun affraid of this man?

Tenshiryu refused to kill this man until he got an answer of what he did, but kawatsu said that their job was to do wherever the shogun tells them and there is when their rivalry begun, as tenshiryu was the leader, kawatsu did as he said and not kill the man yet until tenshiryu was certain that he needed to die. Tenshiryu found out that this man was working to take down the kidnap business of the shogun as they kill his whole family and was not even a rich family, that is why they killed them, he was actually doing it, he was protecting the people from the samurais and manage to kill a lot of them.

Tenshiryu retired as a samurai when he found out that kawatsu went on and kill this man without his permission and became a ronin (a samurai with no master) but little did he knew that kawatsu was going to become the shogun years later and that he wanted his perfect killer back and kidnap his son and wife to drive his attention to him, the murder of his wife was not intended and with that kawatsu was sure that his perfect killer was back and his nihonto was thirsty of vengeance blood.
