Violets (Original Photography) + Boxed (Original Poem)

This Photo is of a forest covered in Violets that lies just outside of London. The forest floor only looks like this for a few weeks a year and there are British laws protecting these flowers.

This Haiku spent the first six months of its life as an unruly poem that relished taunting me until it found its way into my Deadbeat Poems folder. Then @cathi-xx got her hands on this wayward poem and managed to tame the beast inside, not with the same brute force that I was so eager to apply, but with her secret weapon, a Haiku.
