My turn to do the shopping

I never mind doing the weekly shopping except the days for Christmas. On those days you can see we live in a densely populated country. This morning the wife went for her outdoor horse ride leaving me collecting the ingredients for next Christmas diner. I headed for the mall to the Albert Hein and could at first not even park my car. And there are hundreds of spots where I shop. So I used some creativity.

Next is you have to get yourself a shopping car. These are outside and blue is Albert Hein and black is another shop called Lidl. People were waiting for others to return their car and immediately stormed it. Inside it was not any better. Great driving skills are required inside the shop and quite some patience. At times it looks more like this:

Well after some 40 minutes I had everything on my list and went home again. Round 1 is behind me. Now wait for Monday for the real fresh goods or Round 2.

Oh and I got myself two nice french chickens (petit pouline) to eat for December 25th. Can't wait.
