Stardate December 16th 2017
I awoke from my chambers this morning and looked out the portal to find the local terrain covered with icy precipitation, snow.
Ah f$ck! Winter has finally arrived..
We were doing so well, for Atlantic Canada not to get snow till now is pretty sweet, but now that it's here I expect the next three months to be a miserable, slippery and cold affair.
Some people like snow, not me. I mean as a rugged, tough and sexy Canadian I'm used to it, but that doesn't mean I have to enjoy it!
I hate wearing boots, I dont like shoveling it and I prefer if snot didn't run down my face when I'm outdoors.
In winter everything is dead
It's here now, I guess I have to buck up and deal with it. I suppose it's nice for the kids to go play in it, maybe it makes Christmas more legit but I was enjoying the unseasonably mild temperatures we've been having here in Halifax up till now.
Today I'm sad but I'll get over it..

Yup, hit us a couple days ago... assume you are getting the remnants. Got some more last night. sigh - Winter's Coming... Bloody well here, now. Oh, well. What can you do? Put on the woollies and drink more Timmies. Stay warm.

I just had a dump of snow too, it melted quickly, didn't even get to build a snow man :P
When I build them I use the carrot as a dick. I'm a rotten person ๐
That sucks, but as a Canadian, snow should be a part of your DNA. I'm a Chicagoan, so I'm no stranger to an "early morning snow job" myself.

It's actually really nice today. It's in the low 40s. Almost all of our snow from a couple of days ago melted.
It looks nice for a window when it is all white and pristine. But then the sanders come out in force followed by the plows (I always thought that this was a bit arse backwards) which mix the snow up with dirty slush from the streets. Not pretty any longer...
