I've heard of Samuel Pepys Diaries @molometer but know nothing about them.
I didn't know of the library either. I'll add it to my places to visit list if I ever get around to returning to Cambridge. 😁
Pepys was quite an interesting person. He devised the plan to stop the great fire of London of 1666 amongst other things.
His diaries of the events of that time are a fascinating read.
Are there any films about him I wonder @molometer.
I don't tend to read nonfiction these days. 😁
There is a comedy spoof from Steve Coogan AKA Alan Partridge worth a look maybe?
