Hartland Houses
Village Houses in Hartland, North Devon
For those of you who live outside the UK here is a selection of houses that are fairly typical to find in North Devon towns and villages.
They would have been owned by professionals or merchants since they are larger than the average terraced house. In fact the blue one is still the doctor's surgery.
They are from different historical periods.
You can tell this because the windows are different. The smaller the panes of glass the older they are, in general. 😁

There was a time when I could think of nothing I would have liked better than to live there! These days I like having everything all on one level. It makes my life much more manageable!
I'm not sure I'd like to live in one either @melinda010100. I think these houses often look better from the outside that they do on the inside. The rooms can be quite small.
Yeah, I like my big open floor plan and large windows!
