Horseless Adults,Mars

Driving to an unfamiliar place feels like the milestones and scenery outside the window are changing faster. A few days before heading to Mars, I was not aware of the path I was taking. But what I have seen since I climbed the highway is still well remembered. The wide plain spread out endlessly, with fewer cars on the road. 'If you keep going this way, the sea will come out.' When such unfounded faith arose, the sign Mars appeared on the milestone . Wounds does not cover ****maehyangri .

After hearing the story that the old church space was emptied and used as an exhibition hall, I went to Maesong Church. It wasn't a lot of apartments yet, so I could see the cross that rises a little higher than the surrounding buildings. The neat church building, the far west sea, and the debris piled up at the village entrance were the first faces of Mars I encountered. After a few minutes of watching the afternoon sunshine through the long windows of the church, I walked to the place where the bombs were, as expected. Many bomb debris in the middle of the road seemed like an unforgettable invitation. There lies the last 50 years of Mae Hyang-ri who has just fallen asleep with countless empty bombs. In 1951, when the Korean War was in full swing, the US Air Force bombing camp was opened in Maeyang-ri. Even in 1954, when there was a ceasefire and experienced little peace in various places, US military ranges were established and training continued for 250 days a year. I was able to understand the vain scenery here when I heard that on average, 11 hours a day of fire blasts and accidents caused residents to have only weekends to farm or go out to sea. The US base was withdrawn in 2005, and in 2015, the 10th cycle was celebrated in 2015 to create an eco-museum experience space. Terrible bombs were all rusted now. With fragments in the shape of free-moving birds and fish, some were pressed into the word 'peace' written by someone. As you slowly walk around, you will think about your mind displaying the memories you want to erase. The 54-year-old gunfire shook the ground every day, changing the terrain, and now it remains a big scar inside Maegyangri's lapel. Did the people who organized this exhibition know that some wounds did not go away? So it looks like the wound is pulled out where it grows well. A good wind can touch me. Spring would be coming, but I wanted the temperature to arrive here first. Mae Hyangri is the name of a village that was named for its aroma of plum.

“The more excited you are, the more you are trapped in a bomb forest. You become lost. Reflection is needed. I find my way. We will be able to find our time by looking at the wreckage, corpses of bombs that have been torn, rusted and still have to live. The present time in Mae Hyang-ri is the time of all of us today. ”

Looking at the small screen of the navigation, it was all over the sea. Following the road, I confirmed there was a small harbor and drove there. To the left was a spectacular sea, afternoon fishing and a wide plain to the right. I lived in Seoul, and I heard that there are people who want to see the landscape. Without a plausible purpose, it is sometimes necessary for us to just follow the journey to the path. On a straight road, I was in a strange and unfamiliar feeling. Arriving at Gungpyeong Port, people who got off the car were enjoying the sea breeze. I took off my coat and came out lightly to see the people doing the snacking and walking along the breakwater. Porters and cavaliers all over the harbor were added to create an amusement park-like landscape. I stood still and looked at the unfolded things before my eyes and mixed them as part of it. The fish market in Gungpyeong Port is quite large and there are restaurants operated by fishing villagers.

'Seven Eleven is 100 meters ahead.' This short phrase, which I first read on Mars, made me feel empty all morning. It's a convenience store, even if you stop somewhere or not. It's true that Mars has been frivolous for a while. However, after passing Mae Hyang-ri to Gungpyeong Port, I became very fond of the unfortunate scenery of Mars that I can't see in Seoul. At first I didn't know what to shoot, so I kept taking a picture of the plain without anything with my camera. 'right. Seven eleven not important. ' Somewhere to spare this thought came about. Did you learn how to travel to Mars? It wouldn't be possible, but I thought for a moment that I wanted to go back to where I started. I went to a nearby restaurant to eat clam kalguksu and sashimi rice bowls and left the palace.

Comfortable place ****Oklanjae

Oklanjae is a beautiful Hanok located on Seosin-myeon. Hong Sa-jong donated this place with a large garden to the Oklan Foundation and is using the income generated for multicultural family support projects and rural society, economy and cultural development. There was a sense of quiet throughout Mars, but Oklanjae was somewhat different. The sound of the wind, the ducks kicking the water from afar, the sounds of the bellies and the frogs crying. It was a small sound like that. When there was no owner, the manager of Oklanjae followed the Hanok inside. All the while I imagined being with friends and family. It is said that only one team can use a large garden and a few hanoks in one day, so during your stay you will be excited as if you fulfilled your childhood dream of being in a neighborhood. If you are watching ducks in a reservoir in the middle of the site, people will gather together one by one to make breakfast together. I like being alone, but why would it be that I'm excited?

“Look more.” When the guide left me, I walked to the other side where the hanoks were gathered. The hut was hidden in trees. In the space labeled 'House of Wires,' there were many books, a chair, and a large window. Later I found out that the space was a small study room built by President Hong Sa Jong for my daughter. I was neither him nor his little daughter, but I rejoiced for a moment as I entered the relationship. Stories buried all over the place were filling up the large space. Before leaving Oraewon, I saw a horse with long legs and dark brown hair. I went nearby and was too big to know, so I couldn't get any closer. Other people who visited Okraewon later saw pictures taken by their horses. The words in the photo seemed like a gentle word that liked people. I wish I'd put my hand on that wide and hard forehead for a while. If there are people like Mars who are new to

me, I would like to tell you two things I discovered that day . First, we must not miss the story beyond the empty landscape there. Secondly, don't be afraid to go a little closer to regret less.
