Greetings friends. Today I am preparing a virtual dinner at Steem. This challenge is hosted by @erikah.

I think my guests will be few. I will make a simple meal, where besides sharing with my friends, you can breathe the simplicity of a family table.

I will cook rice with chicken, I'll add some vegetables. And I will also season it with the sweet and tender herbs of my garden and with the spices, which I prepared in December, turmeric and ginger. You will see what a special flavor the basil leaves give to my country rice. And what color, turmeric gives my rice.

I also want to share a vegetable salad seasoned with salt, pepper and lemon.

For a drink, I'll make a jug of water with jamaica flowers. I usually boil it for about 10 minutes, then let it cool, add some sugar and then put it in the fridge.

For dessert? I want you to choose which is your favorite. Maybe you want cinnamon or butter cookies, or maybe a piece of vanilla or chocolate cake. Or maybe you want a cupcake. Or a mini donut covered in chocolate.

And to accompany dessert I can offer you hot chocolate, or some tea. The herbs in my garden like yerbamenta, malojillo, santamaría, oregano and rosemary are very green and fresh.

I also have coffee, if that is your taste. You just have to accept my invitation and come to taste, but above all, to share a delicious conversation.

Having said the menu, I'll go with my special invitations.

My first invitation is to my friend @wakeupkitty. I invited her to my country a long time ago, but only when things change here. Coming now is counterproductive. I've only seen her in my mind, I've accompanied her to the hospitals. I also accompanied her to get some important papers for her children, where she was driving for long hours, because it was in another city. and every day I accompany her to take her children to school. Or at least to the bus stop.

My dear @ olivia08, is a very hardworking woman, sacrificed by her family. She works in an Arab country and, she is from the Philippines. She likes nature, sows his own Moringa plant and manufacturing, to obtain economic benefits and send to his family. She, like me, has only one child. She no longer has a husband, but that did not stop her. She is a fighter.

@marblely, is injured in the knee. But try as much as possible to rehabilitate yourself. She goes to the pool and swims for it. She's excellent at making crafts. She spends a lot of time doing household chores. And he also likes cooking, making cookies and cakes.

My dear @malvyconejero, is a steem girl, I met her here and we have become good conversationalists. She is Venezuelan, she went to Argentina to work. She thinks that in this country, she no longer has opportunities. Your conversation is very nice. He has a son, and he is with her in Argentina. She has no time to post, because she is traveling and believes that when she stabilizes, she will publish again.

The beautiful @kgwork, is a young colleague who also left Venezuela, for Spain. It works there. I met her commenting on the posts. I try to give some advice to grow a little more on this platform. And she has in her writings the Spanish dialect. It usually happens, that the way of speaking and writing back home sticks to us. She has many beautiful and good publications.

The friend @ sacra97. She is also a countrywoman, I don't know her in person. But she really lives very close, she's in the same city as me. I hope to meet her. She has more time than me on this platform. She is an enterprising woman. Every day she gets up very early to work and in the evenings, she sits at her computer, with a cup of coffee, to make her virtual visits. She lives with his little pet a dog nicknamed nano, because his name is too long. and her children are out of the country, doing the same thing sas the children of most Venezuelans who have left these lands.

Saludos, amigos todos. Hoy me dispongo a realizar la planificación, para una cena virtual en Steem. Este desafío es alojado por @erikah.

Creo que serán pocos mis invitados. Haré una comida sencilla, donde además de compartir con mis amigos, se pueda respirar la sencillez, de una mesa familiar.

Cocinaré un arroz con pollo. Agregaré algunas verduras. Y, sazonaré con las hiervas dulces y tiernas de mi huerta. Y, con las especies, que yo misma preparé en diciembre, con cúrcuma y jengibre. Verán que sabor tan especial, dan las hojas de la albahaca, a mi arroz. Que color, da la cúrcuma, al arroz.

Además quiero compartir, con una ensalada de vegetales y mayonesa. Sazonada, con sal, pimienta y limón al gusto.

De bebida, haré una jarra de agua con flores de Jamaica. La pondré a hervir por unos 10 minutos aproximadamente, luego la dejo refrescar al ambiente, le agrego un poco de dulzura y al refrigerador.

De postre? Quiero que sean ustedes los que escojan, cual es su preferido. Quieren galletas de canela o de mantequilla, o quizás un pedazo de pastel de vainilla o de chocolate. O tal ves deseen una magdalena. O una mini dona con cobertura de chocolate.

Y para acompañar el postre, les puedo ofrecer chocolate caliente, o un poco de te. Las hierbas de mi jardín como yerbamenta, malojillo, santamaría, orégano y romero, están muy verdes y frescas.

También tengo café, si así es su gusto. Solo tienen que aceptar mi invitación y venir a degustar, pero sobre todo, a compartir una deliciosa conversación.

Dicho ya el menú, voy con mis invitaciones especiales.

Mi primera invitación es para mi amiga @wakeupkitty. Hace mucho tiempo la invité a mi país, pero solo cuando las cosas cambien aquí. Venir ahora es contraproducente. Solo la he visto en mi mente, la he acompañado a los hospitales. También la acompañé a sacar unos papeles importantes para su hijos, donde estuvo conduciendo por largas horas, por que era en otra ciudad. y todos los días la acompaño a llevar a sus hijos al colegio. O por lo menos a la parada del bus.

Mi querida @olivia08, es una mujer muy trabajadora, sacrificada por su familia. Trabaja en un país Arabe y, ella es de las Filipinas. Le gusta la naturaleza, siembra su propia planta de Moringa y la manufactura, para obtener beneficios económicos y enviar a su familia. Ella, como yo, tiene un solo hijo. Ya no tiene esposo, pero eso no la detuvo. Es una mujer luchadora.

@marblely, está lesionada de la rodilla. Pero trata en lo posible de rehabilitarse. Va a la piscina y hace natación para ello. Es excelente haciendo manualidades. Pasa mucho tiempo hasucederciendo las tareas de su hogar. y también le gusta la cocina, hacer galletas y pasteles.

Mi querida @malvyconejero, es una chica steem, la conocí aquí y nos hemos hecho buenas conversadoras. Es venezolana, se fue para Argentina a trabajar. Piensa que en su país, ya no tiene oportunidades. Es muy agradable su conversación. Tiene un hijo, y él está con ella en Argentina. Tiene tiempo que no publica, pues anda viajando y cree que cuando se estabilice, volverá a publicar.

La guapa de @kgwork, es una colega, joven, también se fue de Venezuela, para España. Allá trabaja. La conocí comentando en las publicaciones. Trato de darle unos tic, para crecer un poco más en esta plataforma. Y tiene en sus escritos el dialecto español. Suele suceder, que se nos pegue la forma de hablar y escribir, del lugar en donde permanecemos largo tiempo. Tiene muchas bonitas y buenas publicaciones.

La amiga @sacra97. También es una coterránea, no la conozco en persona. Pero vive en verdad, muy cerca en la misma ciudad que yo. Espero conocerla. Tiene más tiempo que yo en esta plataforma. Es una mujer emprendedora. Todos los días se levanta muy temprano a trabajar y en las noches, se sienta a la computadora, con una taza de café, a realizar sus visitas virtuales. Vive con su pequeña mascota, un perro de apodo nano, por que su nombre es demasiado largo. y sus hijos están fuera del país, haciendo lo mismo que, hacen los hijos de la mayoría de los venezolanos, que han dejado estas tierras.

Por lo pronto, mi mesa solo es de 6 puestos. Los que falten, serán invitados para otra oportunidad, cuando los conozca un poco más y sepa que menú ofrecerles.
