My little tronkin.

She is the little pampered girl of the house. It's a land turtle. Very domestic, but sometimes it does not behave as such. She lives on our porch. There she eats, drinks her liquids and eats her plants and house food.

She retains her ability to be free. Although she recognizes who my son and I are. On one occasion, I accidentally left the door open to the garden. This little turtle took the opportunity to sneak out and got lost in my plants. I couldn't find her for three days. It's not a season with rainy weather, so I had no water and the plants are a bit tall for her. But even so, it did not appear.

My son and I, we care. There are very big cats that come at night. There are ugly rats outside, they suddenly run from the street to my garden. I thought she would come out quickly when I called her by name. Several times I insisted and it didn't come.

On the third day, I was watering the plants and placing fertilizer, when I saw a reflection of movement on my left and looked at it. I found her a few steps from me. Are you looking for me? Was she looking at me? I don't know. It was eating some straw dropped on the floor.

I immediately pick her up a nd place her on the porch, with water and with her favorite plants. She was without water for a long time !! Wow, she's thirsty. But still she wants to return to the garden. After many days she escapes again.

More than 5 days pass and I lost hope that she would return. I cried, I apologized for my carelessness and also apologized to my son. It's very sad since she does not return, while I call her and pour water here and there.

But the day less thought, I'm taking care of my plants and see again a small movement below my height. It was Tronkín, did she look for me again? Or are they simple coincidences. The truth is that now we are more careful with her. Because she can get out from under the garage fence and we'll never see her there again.

This is she of only about 5 months. Almost the size of the cayenne flower.

She's our little pampered turtle. She has already lived an entire year with us. I hope she stays for much longer.

Mi pequeña tronkin.

Ella es la consentida de la casa. Es una tortuga de tierra. Muy doméstica, pero algunas veces no se comporta como tal. Vive en nuestro porche. Allí come, toma sus líquidos y come sus plantas y comida de casa.

Ella conserva su habilidad de ser libre. Aunque reconoce quienes somos mi hijo y yo. En una oportunidad, dejé abierta por accidente, la puerta hacia el jardín. Esta tortuguita, aprovechó para escabullirse y se perdió entre mis plantas. No la pude encontrar por tres días. No es tiempo de lluvia, así que no tenía agua y las plantas están un poco altas para ella. Pero aun así, no aparecía.

Mi hijo y yo, nos preocupamos. Hay gatos muy grandes que vienen en la noche. Hay ratas feas afuera, corren de repente hacia la calle y hacia mi jardín. Pensé que ella saldría rápido cuando la llame por su nombre. Varias veces insistí y no vino.

Al tercer día, estaba regando las plantas y colocando abono, cuando vi un reflejo de movimiento por mi izquierda y la mire. A unos pocos pasos de mi. Me está buscando? me miró? no lo se. Estaba comiendo un poco de paja caído al piso.

De inmediato la recojo y la coloco en el porche, Con agua y con sus plantas preferidas. Se introdujo al agua por mucho rato!! vaya , esta sedienta. Pero aun así quiere volver al jardín. Después de muchos días se vuelve a escapar.
Pasan más de 5 días y perdí la esperanza que volviera. La lloré, pedí perdón por mi descuido y a mi hijo también le pedí disculpas. Es muy triste ya que no vuelve, mientras la llamo y coloco agua de aquí y de allá.

Pero el día menos pensado, estoy cuidando mis plantas y veo de nuevo un pequeño movimiento por debajo de mi altura. Era tronkín, de nuevo me buscó? o son casualidades. Lo cierto es que ahora tenemos más cuidado con ella. Porque puede salir por debajo de la reja del garaje y allí no la veremos nunca más.

Esta es ella de apenas unos 5 meses. Casi del tamaño de la flor cayena.

Es nuestra consentida. Ya cumplió un año con nosotros. Espero que permanezca por mucho más tiempo.
