La navidad, es un tema muy agradable para escribir. Es una fecha donde se puede ver en el ambiente muchos cambios. La gente en la calle parece más receptiva. Aun en las situaciones más difíciles, la navidad siempre trae pensamientos optimistas.

En mi familia siempre la navidad era estimulante. Mi madre, semanas antes de la navidad, sembraba semillas de maíz y semillas de trigo. En el momento de hacer el pesebre, que era una estructura muy grande y alta, solía colocar las plantas de maíz y trigo. Así la colina que hacía con cartón, cartulina y tela, quedaba llena de las plantas que, para ese momento, estaban bien desarrolladas.

Luego seguía con la tradición de colocar el árbol. Era un árbol de verdad, no pino, pero si una rama grande, con forma de pino. Se adornaba con muchas luces y muchos adornos que mamá misma hacía.

La tradición siguió. Instalé por muchos años, mi forma personal de pesebre y del árbol. Ahora era un pino de verdad. O en otra oportunidad, uno de plástico verde. Adornado con muchas luces de diferentes colores, con muchas formas de titilar. Con adornos de colores múltiples y llamativos.

Ahora, ya no coloco el árbol. Mis padres se fueron, dos de mis hermanos también. Perdí el interés en la navidad, huí de ella por algún tiempo. Me escondí en la oscuridad de las noches de navidad. Pero luego volví a recapacitar. Tantas invitaciones de la familia y terminé aceptando de nuevo la navidad.

Mi sobrina sigue con la tradición. Adorna este bello árbol de navidad. En forma diferente cada año. Este año, le tocó a los colores de mi bandera. Y colocó tal cantidad de adornos. Que me hace recordar mis tiempos con mamá y mis hermanos todos. Los adornos los hizo ella misma.

Acepto con alegría de nuevo la navidad y la idea, que hoy estoy y debo disfrutar el regalo de la vida con mis seres más amados.

In my family, Christmas was always stimulating. My mother, weeks before Christmas, sowed corn seeds and wheat seeds. Thus the hill that made with cardboard, cardboard and cloth, was full of plants that, by that time, were well developed.

Then he continued with the tradition of placing the tree. It was a real tree, not pine, but a large, pine-shaped branch. It was decorated with many lights and many ornaments that Mom herself made.

The tradition continued. I installed for many years, my personal form of manger and tree. Now it was a real pine. Or another time, one of green plastic. Adorned with many lights of different colors, with many ways to blink. With ornaments of multiple and striking colors.

Now, I no longer place the tree. My parents left, two of my brothers too. I lost interest in Christmas, I ran away from it for some time. I hid in the darkness of Christmas nights. But then I reconsidered again. So many family invitations and I ended up accepting Christmas again.

My niece continues the tradition. Decorate this beautiful Christmas tree. In a different way every year. This year, it was the color of my flag. And placed such amount of ornaments. That makes me remember my times with mom and my brothers all. The ornaments were made by herself.

I gladly accept Christmas and the idea, that today I am and I must enjoy the gift of life with my most loved ones.
