Steemit Ultimate Challenge 8 Weeks - Week #5
I am so glad hearing about @dobartim's steemit ultimate challenge that gives everyone a chance to express gratitude and experiences from our journey in this platform.
To start with, I wanna share how I get started, motivated, developed patience, grow as a steemian and a better person of who I am today.
I signed up for steemit account in 18th of December 2017 during my reinstatement due to appendectomy. My good colleagues and fellow steemian @kyrie1234 @fabio2614 @jenesa made a big impact for making me have my self in this platform. Luckily got approved in 19th of the same month.
Then my steemit journey begins.
Two months ago, my posts got low upvotes and support from the community probably because my content was not attractive and my tags does not go to the right category.

Steemit Helps Intensify My Patience and Perseverance
During my first month of steemit life, it was very difficult for me and really a struggle. Received 0.01 to 0.10 from my post, already made my day until I discovered that I must work harder and make my write ups better.
I keep on learning steemit world and read post from fellow steemians and it helps me a lot in understanding new strategies on how to grow.

Steemit Helped Me in Meeting New People
My first steemit meet up was with fellow teachers, their partners and family members. That was February 03 (Saturday) this year conducted by @itinerantph and @ninyea who were so kind in sharing their steemit knowledge to newbies like me. They explained well the objectives of the meetup and invited us for the 7th Steemit Cebu Meet Up in the following day (February 4, Sunday).

To join meetups and meet fellow steemians are great way to have support and learn more about the community you are with. Every individual from the community were very approachable and whole heartidly share their ways and strategies how to achieve success.
Steemit Helps My Communication Skills
Honestly, I am really not good into writing before I get started (I am not saying either I am good now , hahaha!) but I feel I have developed some skills in communicating upon joining this platform. Self expression was very hard for me before. Letting other people learn about me and how I feel was really a No,No...
Things changed a lot when I have support from the Philippine community thru @bayanihan and @surpassinggoogle who constantly upvote my posts, and to rest of fellow steemians who regularly visits my profile.
Just recently, I felt so blessed to be upvoted from my promo-steem post 7 days ago and got more than 300 sbd. Thank you for @appreciator for giving me the 100% support. You give so much joy specially to my family. You are an angel sent from above.
