Delicious Cheesy Garlic Bread at Home
Hello Steemian's,
Here's a simple recipe for a Garlic Bread.
Ingredients
- Loaf of bread
- Softened butter
- Olive oil
- Crushed garlic cloves
- Dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated mozzarella cheese
Preparation
Preheat the oven grill.
Cut bread into 1 to 2-inch slices.
In a small bowl, combine butter, olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Spread the mixture evenly over the bread slices.
On a plate, arrange the slices evenly and grill for 5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Check frequently that they do not burn.
Remove from the oven. Sprinkle with cheese and grill for 2 to 3 minutes, until cheese is lightly browned and melted. Serve immediately.
